Join us at The Bottle and Glass Inn for 90 minutes of LEGO brick building play followed by lunch. Tickets include a 90 minute workshop and a Bottle & Glass burger and chips for the children. Coffee, cake and other treats available for grown ups whilst the children build for those wanting to catch up with a friend/family enjoy a hot cuppa. Parents are welcome to drop off or stay onsite.  Workshop theme - Bricky Wonka's Chocolate Factory Bricky Wonka and his chocolate factory staff are under pressure. The chocolate waterfall has malfunctioned at the busiest time of year and Wonka is going to need the help of our brick building experts to save the day. Please note that we are using the dining room in the pub for this session and not the barn. There is a dining room next door to our build space that parents can use for drinks/chats whilst the event is taking place.

Flower to Form: A Spring Gathering is an intimate botanical experience designed to mark the season of renewal. Held close to Mother’s Day, this gathering is a thoughtful way to celebrate motherhood, creativity, and time spent together.

Created in collaboration between floral artist Lyndsay Wade and Jesmonite casting artist Charlotte Wolfe, the gathering blends natural materials with thoughtful making, inviting guests to pause, connect, and enjoy the beauty of spring as it

Classical soprano Ava Reineke will present an evening of opera and art song at The Bottle and Glass Barn, bringing together emerging vocal talent, established musicians and community purpose in a richly varied recital supporting Henley Music School.

Ava Reineke is currently in her final year of undergraduate study at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where she studies with Sophie Grimmer. Her time at Trinity has included a wide range of performance projects, from improvisation and performance art ensembles to Spanish opera explorations and Nordic opera workshops, reflecting her versatility and growing artistic voice.

Previously, Ava studied for three years at the Junior Royal Academy of Music, where her roles included Hansel in Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel, Alma in the world premiere of Green Man Ho, and Yum-Yum in Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Mikado. She has performed in prestigious venues including Cologne Cathedral, Garsington Opera, the Old Naval Chapel, and the Sheldonian Theatre, and most recently appeared with Blackheath Halls Opera as Priestess 2 and Soprano Chorus Leader.

The concert programme will span five languages — German, French, Italian, Spanish and English — and will feature works by Mozart, Wolf, Debussy, Ravel, Puccini, and English composers Liza Lehmann and Libby Larsen. Ava will be joined for duets by Lara Johnson-Perkins, and by violinist Laura Reineke, founder of Henley Music School.

The performance will last approximately one hour, with a 15-minute interval. Audience members will be welcomed with a complimentary glass of bubbly on arrival, with a bar menu available throughout the evening. Guests are warmly encouraged to stay and socialise after the performance.

Ava Reineke was a founding member of Henley Music School, a local charity established to ensure that all children have access to high-quality music education, regardless of background or financial circumstance. At a time when many small arts charities are struggling for funding, Henley Music School continues to champion the belief that the arts are not a luxury, but a vital part of education and wellbeing.

Appassionato is the performance ensemble of Violin with Helen, bringing together talented young string players who perform to a high musical standard.
